ECJ Partner Kelly Scott Appointed President of Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

06.10.2015

ECJ Partner, Kelly Scott, was sworn in as President of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors on June 4, 2015 at the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Summer Garden Party - Annual Member Appreciation and Board Installation event held at Beverly Canon Gardens. Kelly will serve as Board President for the 12-month term from 2015 - 2016.

“It is exciting to be a part of a Chamber of Commerce that has reinvented what it means to be a Chamber of Commerce.  Chambers have traditionally been all about facilitating business. This Chamber has become much more than that; it is a source of information in terms of government, economics, business strategies and industry-specific events. It is a Chamber that is not just informing business, but changing the way people do business. It is one of the most successful Chambers out there, but with over 100 separate programs and events in a given year, some members can be a little overwhelmed. My job over the next year will be to re-examine how we connect with members from the inside out, to make sure that the members are getting the most out of their membership. It is going to be a great year.” ~ Kelly Scott

For more than 25 years Kelly Scott has been an active member of the Beverly Hills community not only as a partner at the law firm of Ervin Cohen & Jessup LLP, where he acts as head of the Employment Law Department, but he has also served the community in a variety of charitable endeavors. In addition to his appointment as the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Board President, Kelly serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Chamber as well as on the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and as Vice President of Human Resources for The Maple Counseling Center, a non-profit organization providing low cost mental health services to the community.
